1985: The company is founded (2.5 ha of plants) by three plant enthusiasts: Michel SALLE, André Marie BERTRAND and Gérard LONG. Output reaches 630,000 plants, built around a few conifer species (THUYA plicata Atro, CUPRESSOCYPARIS leylandii) in a single sales container, the 8 cm liner pot. At the time the company has only 4 permanent employees.
1985-1990: Ten polytunnels are built to widen the range, which now includes around a hundred shrub species and 17 conifer species. Annual output exceeds 1 million plants.
1991: A second growing site (the "Bois" site) of 3.5 ha is brought into production, with the construction of 3 twin-span tunnels and 17 polytunnels.
1995: In the space of 10 years the company triples its output (more than 2 million plants a year) and now has 14 permanent employees.
1999: Acquisition of the Jacques Rouleau nurseries (9 ha).
2000 to 2006: Construction of a 3,000 m² heated glasshouse for Mediterranean plants and perennials, 10 separate polytunnels, 5 twin-span tunnels for shrubs and 60 raised beds for conifers. Output rises to more than 3.5 million plants a year.
2007: Creation of a new 2-hectare stock-plant area to guarantee traceability and supply 85% of our production. The whole production chain is computerised (from stock plants through to sale), as are all growing operations (pruning, treatments, etc.).
2009: Construction of 2 multi-span greenhouses (6,000 m²) for growing shrubs and grasses.
2012: Modernisation of our propagation area with the construction of a 13,500 m² multi-span greenhouse. This unit can produce more than 3 million 104-cell plugs a year.
